Oulton Park Information

Please read through the information below carefully.

Camping
Camping is permitted on the Friday & Saturday nights, you may also leave trailer overnight at your own risk.
Friday Night - Normal camping, keep out of the way of trackday people if you arrive early please.
Saturday Night - Oulton Park is normally closed on Sundays so we have made special arrangements to have a security guard on the Saturday night so that people can stay over or leave trailers until the Sunday morning. We ask that anyone doing this contributes to the cost of the security guard when they check in for the sprint, £10 per 'plot'
Important - Note that the paddock must be clear once we're done on the Saturday night so all camping and any trailers must use the grass area on the inside of Lodge corner, it's a bit out of the way but if you want to base yourselves over there for the event to save moving note that you will almost certainly need to use a groundsheet and just be wary of the grass with the rain in the past week or so. You should aim to collect anything or leave the circuit by 9am on the Sunday, there is currently a triathlon event on the schedule but if that doesn't take place the circuit will be closed otherwise.

Garages
Garages are fully booked for the event, Note that parking directly behind the garages is reserved for those in the garages, there is plenty of paddock space.

Briefing
There will be a short briefing on the day at 08:30 either outside the control tower or in the garages next to it go over the main points of the day which all drivers must attend. Please be on time as the schedule is very tight for this round and anyone not present when the briefing begins will not be permitted to run.

Drivers
Drivers are required to complete their Registration, Vehicle Safety Declaration Form & Safety Briefing prior to arriving at check in at the event which are all contained within the link below.

Driver Registration Form 5th October – Live 24 prior to event start.

Please ensure that you have read through the event Regulations carefully and that your vehicle complies before attending.
The Vehicle Safety Declaration form (VSD) included in the online registration above means that you self declare that the vehicle complies with the safety regulations, we will carry out visual inspections throughout the event to check that the declaration is in order.

Please ensure that you read through the Event Instructions & Timetable linked below.

Competition Licence
We require that all participants are in possession a licence issued by The IOPD which is a body empowered by statute 1371 and authorised by the Secretary of state for the regulation of off- highway auto events. These are available at a cost of £25 for an Annual Licence or £15 for a day licence directly online from the IOPD using the link below. Please note that if purchasing an annual pass you should do so with enough time for it to be posted out. Day passes are sent via email so we would advise that you purchase yours be the end of the week so that you may still contact IOPD should there be a problem of some sort. If you are not able to produce your card/code at the event or have booked it for the incorrect date then you must purchase another correct one.

Competition Licence Form – Complete you licence application online prior to the event.

The clubhouse will open the bar around 5pm so that you can relax after the event and enjoy the evening, we encourage you all to stay to support your fellow competitors.

Tannoy System
As a lot of the circuits have tannoy problems we’ve set up a Whatsapp group for the sprints that also includes an announcement group where we can keep you updated throughout the event with messages so you can keep track of when you need to head down to the start via your phone.

Live Results
We’ll be operating live timing throughout the event which you can find on the link below.

If you set a time and it is not being displayed on the results then chances are it was a voided run.

A full set of results including overall, class and run times including sectors will be available from the results tab on the sprint page the day after the event has concluded.
